The project organized a two-day workshop (29-30 July 2002) to help establish a network for effectiveness disseminations of information to the consumers. This workshop on Consumer Awareness involved a group of public relation, technical officers, Food and drug Administration officers, Division of Food officers, Department of Medical of Sciences Ministry of Public Health and Lemon Farm cooperatives and private section. The workshop participants formulated a number of recommendations which will be followed up by the project.
