Workshop survey DBM parasitoids in Thailand

In collaboration with FAO regional program for vegetables IPM and with the DOAE pest management Division, the project has started work on biological control of DBM. Initially a survey will be conducted to explore the possibilities to use imported Diadegma species as bio-control agents. FAO provides technical input and funding for the survey work, while the IPM DANIDA project is supporting training activities and workshops. The IPM DANIDA project also produced a newsletter dedicated entirely to DBM parasitoids.

Dr. Lim Guan Soon, an FAO consultant and expert on DBM parasitoids, is facilitating this workshop.
