Season-long TOT in vegetables IPM in Petchburi (Chinese kale)
In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Department
of Agricultural Extension (DOAE), Non-Formal Education (NFE) and Thai
Education Foundation (TEF) the IPM DANIDA project is
running for the 4th time a season-long Training of Trainers course
in vegetable IPM.
This training in Petchburi
started on 20 September and will continue until 18
November 2005. The 30 participants in the
training are staff of DOA (OARDs 2, 5 and 6),
DOAE, volunteer teachers of DNFE, and
Royal project Foundation. The training
is conducted by experienced facilitators of NFE,
TEF and the IPM DANIDA project, with technical support by specialists of DOA
and DOAE.
During the TOT the participants organize 5 Farmer
Field Schools where farmers can learn about IPM in Chinese Kale.
