About the pesticides database

The pesticides database offers quick access to information about pesticides in Thailand.

For each active ingredient the database shows English and Thai names, Chemical family, WHO toxicity class, CAS number, Biological classification, and Status in Thailand.

Status is indicated as:

bulletregistered
bulletregistered (on watch list)
bulletbanned

We can not guarantee that this status information is 100% up-to-date as it is changing regularly. Please contact the Department of Agriculture for the latest information regarding the registration status of pesticides.

Other information

For each pesticide the database  shows if it is classified in the PAN pesticides database as a "PAN Bad Actor pesticide". It includes information on acute toxicity, whether it is a known carcinogen or developmental toxin, and whether it is a suspected endocrine disruptor.

The database also shows if the pesticide is subject to the Prior Informed Consent procedure.
