Hygienic Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Production Pilot Project
The logo of the Hygienic Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Production Pilot project indicates that the farm which produced the product has passed a food safety inspection by the Department of Agriculture concerning the proper use of pesticides.
Ministry of Public Health
Department of Medical Science of the Ministry of Public Health has developed a system of checking that vegetables are pesticide-safe. This logo is placed on products from farms that were found to comply with their safety standards.
Organic Crop Production in Thailand
This is the Organic Thailand logo. Standards for Organic Crop Production in Thailand were established in 2000, as guidelines for organic crop production in compliance with international standards.
This is the IFOAM organic logo, which can also be found on some produce in Thailand. The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) is the worldwide umbrella organization of the organic agriculture movement, with about 750 member organizations and institutions in about 100 countries all over the world. It was founded in 1972.
The Q-logo was introduced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives during the 2004 "year of food safety". It can be used on produce from farms that were certified under the "Good Agricultural Practices" (GAP) program. Farms that are certified under this program are regularly checked and samples of fruits or vegetables are checked for pesticide residues.
Doi Kham logo
The Royal Project Foundation works with farmers in the hill areas of Chiang Mai to produce pesticide safe fruits and vegetables. These are sold with the Doi Kham logo.
Lemon Farm is a consumer organization selling pesticide-safe and organic farm products. There are a number of Lemon Farm shops in Bangkok.
